1. During finals week, you can't find any spots/ tables to study in library west.
-why this happens? Theres only two main used library and over 60,000 students.
2. During the day at UF, it's impossible to ride your bike on campus.
- WHY? Theres not many bike lanes, and when there is , people block the way.
3. When you find a parking spot, but someone cuts you off and takes it.
- people do this when they are either inconsiderate or in a rush.
4. When you study really hard but end up not getting the grade you expected.
-sometimes the strategy you use to study ends up not working out when taking the actual exam. Try a different method of studying or learn the concepts better.
5. Getting a hair cut and leaving the establishment with a cut you did not want.
-either they don't know your hair type and how to handle it or they're inexperienced.
6. During the first week of each semester, it is impossible to buy school items like notebooks at the Walmart or Target in Butler Plaza.
-there in only one Walmart and Target that is close to campus and people rather not pack their cars back at home with supplies and just buy them in Gainesville.
7. During certain seasons, the Publix located in archer doesn't sell scallops.
- scallops are collected during certain seasons
8. Going to a restaurant where each dish is 20$, and it's not as good as a place where you pay 10$
- You often pay for the environment , rather than the actual food or they need a better chef.
9. Sitting at the cinema , and you end up sitting with a loud popcorn eater or a talker.
- People sometimes don't realize how loudly they eat nor do many realize that there is other people around them watching the movie.
10. Eating at close table seating, and the person next to you is chewing loudly
-person wasn't taught proper table matters
11. During the first few weeks of classes, lectures are packed with people to the point where you can't find seating.
- UF doesn't take into considerations that students don't tend to sit next to each other causing others to have difficulty finding a seat.
12. Receiving phone calls from the debt collector because you haven't been paying back your loans, credit cards, or university dues.
-Pay off your debt, and you won't receive calls or make a plan with them to pay an amount every month
13. When shopping at certain stores, you get bombard with credit card questions and whether or not you want to apply for one.
- It's the employees job to ask you these questions..
14. Driving around the city , and someone makes a sudden turn without their signal.
- Drivers tend to forget to turn their signal or they think they won't cause any accidents if they just turn.
15. Driving through the drive though and having to go back into the establishment because they messed up your order.
-Drive through can get hectic during busy hours, causing employees to forget things due to nervousness. Proper training is needed.
16. After purchasing items at Publix and realizing after you looked through your recipe that they didn't add the appropriate discount.
- Systems sometimes aren't up to date with the stores discounts
17. Living in Gainesville ,and having a chase bank account so you have to go to your local grocery store to get cash back.
- they need to open a chase bank because the majority of the students come from south florida where this bank is popular but Gainesville and UF make their profit via Wells Fargo
18. Living with roommates who don't clean their dishes or help take out the trash.
- Solve the issue by talking with your roommates or it will be unresolved
19. During the summer , only certain buses run and those that are running run on a specific limited schedule.
- Because there is only a few students studying during the summer, UF feels they don't need many buses to run throughout the day
20. Certain houses in gainesville don't have heaters, so during the winter you're cold!
- Gainesville houses are pretty old, thus not having heaters installed.
The only challenge I had with this assignment was how I was going to word it as well as determine the root of the problem.
